8 p.m. – Networking Session
It can be a challenge reaching out to unfamiliar faces and professionals you’ve never met. This is why we’re excited to announce our partnership with TenThousandCoffees.com, a networking platform that makes meeting new people fun and approachable. In keeping with the premise of Wilkin’s TenThousandCoffees.com initiative this interactive meet and greet, hosted by Huntington University and the Lougheed Teaching and Learning Centre, will match participants, based on professional interests.
All you have to do is register! A couple of weeks prior to the event you’ll receive an email introducing you to someone relevant based on your areas of interests and career path. All those who have signed up for the event, prior to May 9th, will be matched, via email, introducing you to another attendee so you can meet for a coffee during the designated networking hour. The aim is to create meaningful connections between young people who are in the process of building their careers and established professionals who see value in the exchange of ideas…all over a cup of coffee.
Please note, participants must register in advance so that they can be effectively matched with other participants who share similar professional goals and interests. Each registrant requires their own email address in order to receive the TenThousandCoffees.com questionnaire.
